I Can Not Get Up in the Morning to exercise.
Does it matter what time I do it?

When you exercise in the morning, it can mean the difference between doing it or not doing it. You are four times more likely to skip the exercise if you push off later in the day. For some night owls, getting up in the morning can be nearly impossible. People get tired from work, errands become more of a priority and most of us just want to relax. If you are having problems getting up in the morning, begin getting up early, slowly! Set your alarm a 3 minutes earlier. Although a few minutes may not help in real weight loss, it will begin to set a pattern. Use the extra few minutes to get out of bed and stretch or do some sit ups. Even the smallest amount of movement can make a huge difference in your attitude. For the first twenty days, add one minute. Soon, you’ll have enough time to take a quick walk or do other type of cardio. Morning workouts have a slight fat burning advantage. Because most of you will not have many calories on board, you will be using up your glycogen stores quicker and your body will tap into using fat as energy at a faster rate. The down side to a morning workout is that your body temperature is lower and muscles are tighter. Be careful to warm up and go slowly. If you do choose to push your workout to the evening, your energy may be better because you’ll have eaten more through the day. Another benefit to afternoon workouts, your body temp will be up and muscles are less apt to be tight and the risk of injury is lower. Good Luck!
